| The Barbaglia family opened the Baglios Caffe in 1994, when Sandton Square (now Nelson Mandela Square) first opened. It has become a favourite, well known landmark and meeting place for visitors to the European-styled piazza. The Italian themed restaurant is renowned for it's quality value for money cuisine, while being positioned in one of the prime locations in Sandton. The area itself is the business and financial heartland of South Africa, and Baglios Caffe is very popular with business people, tourists and shoppers alike. Situated in the best corner of Nelson Mandela Square, Baglios Caffe offers the customer a warm Italian, cosmopolitan "casual but chic" ambiance and experience for all day dining.
